Beat the Internal Blues
Monday is here once again! While we have another moment in life to make our mark, we might also be dreading going into our workplace because of the ambiance of negativity that strikes inside the walls of the office. I want to take the time to help improve the morale not only in the office, but also within yourself with 3 quick tips to beat the internal blues on the JOB!
3 Quick Tips to Allow You to Beat the Internal Blues on the JOB:
STEP
SPIN
SHOUT
I can hear you questioning yourself, “What in the world does this have to do with helping me beat the internal blues on my JOB?!” Well my fellow friend, it has a lot to do with it. Allow me to break down the rhythm of what I mean.
STEP: Every time you go to work, it’s a step that will take you to the next phase of your life. Learn as much as you can from your current position, as this is where you can piece up the puzzle to find out what you like and don’t like. You learn something from every experience, so take it as a step as you will have additional steps to climb in the ladder of success.
SPIN: Balance it out! Find the pros you like about the position. Maybe your colleagues, the flexibility, or even the company perks. Then, pin out the cons. Perhaps this could be the organization, system software, etc. This allows you to go around and digest everything you want to spin out for your next job opportunity or find ways to enhance your current companies procedure.
SHOUT: No, no, I’m not encouraging you to literally shout. However, I do want you to find that positive factor on the inside of you and shout it out internally until it glows on the outside of you! No place should dull your mood and make you feel dark on the inside. Find that positive factor and shout it out on the inside so others can see your “case of the happies” floating all around you!
Keep on keeping on and making strides to better the person you are. Remember, obstacles are in your life to make you stronger, but the only way to reach the top is to climb! Keep climbing and keep pushing and know you can change the beat of your rhythm. Enjoy your week and #BeStrong!
